Coach Allan Lowrance of the Chattanooga Steam has been chosen as a finalist for
Assistant Coach of the year by minor League Football News. The awards banquet will be in Las Vegas December 5, 2009.

The Bulldogs finished the season with an 11-3 record in their first year in the USFL. According to player and owner Kacee Smith five players from the team signed professional contacts with the Augusta Colts.
Quintent Kent, Marcus Reese, Jamal Hall, OJ Taylor and Mike Paige were all signed by the indoor football team. The Colts are a professional indoor football team that play under the same rules as in the Arena Football League did. The players are paid each game week, provided with housing, and also fed daily.
"This is really a big deal. I am so happy for these guys,” said Smith “It has been a long process, but I am glad it worked out for them."

- THE GENERAL LEAGUE MEETING FOR THE 2010 USFL SEASON WILL BE IN CHATTANOOGA TN. ON FEBRUARY 13, 2010. THE 2010 LEAGUE SCHEDULE WILL BE COMPLETED AT THE LEAGUE MEETING.
- 2010 SEASON BEGINS JUNE 5th 2010, 1ST BYE WEEK IS JULY 3rd. 2nd BYE/MAKE UP DATE IS AUGUST 7th.PLAY OFFS BEGINS AUGUST 28th.
- LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP & ALLSTAR GAME ON SEPTEMBER 18,2010.
- UNLIKE PREVIOUS YEARS, THE LEAGUE WILL PROVIDE THE 2010 SELECTED ALL STAR UNIFORMS.
- NEW TEAM MEETING HELD ON DECEMBER 5, 2009
