The United South Football League exists as a Football League with the sole purpose of bringing quality adult amateur football teams together.

Our organization (USFL) is operated with the premise of offering its members an enjoyable atmosphere,and environment for owners to operate their individual teams. Every effort is made to restrict membership to individuals that adhere to the policies of the League and are willing to work with the other member teams in a positive and constructive manner. Individual members, while working with their own team in mind, all work with the idea that every member is responsible for the overall function and success of the League.

The USFL is governed by our Board of Directors, consisting of member teams. All members of the USFL Board of Director function with the idea that we are involved in a UNIQUE activity,therefore we present ourselves to the public in a positive manner, and respect the efforts of other board members in making the USFL the strongest organization it can be.

The USFL welcomes any individual or organization that displays the ability to adhere to these simple, but very important, ideals.

Executive Committee may vote on matters of emergency only when it is impossible or not practical for the Full and Probationary Members to meet.

The Executive Committee may not vote on any matters that would involve rescheduling of games and rules & regulations.

The Board of Directors (made up of each team owner) is a Board Member and is granted one vote per team on all league business brought before the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is the operating body of the USFL.

The appointed committee of the United South Football League will consist of the following offices: Deputy Commissioner, Secretary, Treasurer, Director of Teams Operations

The Commissioner shall be responsible for at least the following items:
  • A. Will conduct scheduled League meetings.
  • B. Will act as Chairperson of the Rules Committee.
  • C. Will enforce Rules and suspensions.

The Treasurer shall be responsible for at least the following items:
  • A. Collection of all money due the League.
  • B. Payment of all invoices to the League.
  • C. Maintain and report to the Board of Directors the balance of all accounts.
  • D. Maintain records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • E. Develop a League budget on a yearly basis.

The Secretary shall be responsible for the following items:
  • A. Recording of all minutes for any League meetings.
  • B. Reporting during League meetings of recorded minutes.
  • C. Complete record keeping of League meeting information.

The Executive Committee – will be made up of five members of the Board of Directors with the Commissioner excluded and appointed by The Commisioner.
